What is the best brand for a HD LCD television?

Hi yeah basically i want a 50"-55" HD LCD TV and I want to know a good brand so i won't be disappointed in the long run so yeah basically what do you guys think is the best brand for a HD LCD TV and please say why as well thank you.

The best brands for that size of LCD TV would be:

1) Samsung
2) Sony
3) LG

Sharp and Toshiba are also ok but not as reliable!
