Samsung DLP Tv lamp blew up AGAIN!?
I have a 62 inch DLP. I have had it for two years. At one year, the lamp blew and the color wheel bearings went out. All was replaced. Now a year later, another bulb blown. I ordered one. I put it in and within a hour, the new one went out! I am looking for suggestions on what could cause this. Maybe the fan?? Also, anyone know of a cheap place to by just the bulb, not the whole lamp?
Man......I don't TRUST those lamps if they are NOT coming from Samsung directly !
That's what scares me about NON SAMSUNG BULBS....
They could be factory rejects picked up by an outside source and they keep sending you lamp after lamp until one lamp actually holds on.....
What a waste of your personal time.....
BUT...if it was a SAMSUNG LAMP and you paid about $250 for it, and IT BLEW.....
I would be buying a new Lamp power supply / Ballast......
Return that lamp...tell them you want your money back.
IF a fan was bad, that TV would NEVER start up, as those fans are monitored during the operation of the TV set.....If they ever fail, it's INSTANT SHUTDOWN
