The display responds to the three sensors. Proximity Sensor usually shuts off the touch-screen and display when iPhone is brought close to the face while calling. This usually saves battery power and prevents unintended inputs from user's ears and face. Ambient-Light Sensor generally adjusts the brightness for display saving the battery power. 3-Axis accelerometer basically senses orientation of phone and accordingly changes screen. Music playing, web browsing and photo browsing support both right or left and upright widescreen orientations. Double tap on iPhone screen is convenient to zoom in and zoom out text and images at a go. This is generally a very cool application for viewing photos on iPhone photo app. Toggling between letterbox mode and fullscreen mode is possible just by double tapping on screen. Browsing is also more fun as you could zoom in and zoom out content with the trick of double tapping. In case of any fault with your iPhone you need not wait and leave yourself stuck for days and weeks while your phone undergoes repair. You can carry out the repair by yourself and with confidence. Not all repairs are very technical, your repair may only include change of iPhone case if there are too many scratches on it, replacement of docking station, replacement of non-chargeable battery or possibility of buying some accessories and fixing them. - These are really basic repairs to your iPhone and need only simple skills - however you would find advice and tips to assist you finish the tasks successfully, and a lot faster. Panasonic LCD 60" HD TV - Bulb Problems?
I have a 3 year old Panasonic LCD 60" HD TV that blew its first bulb about 8 months ago. Within a couple days of replacing the bulb the next bulb blew, which that company promptly replaced. Now 8 months later that bulb stops working (doesn't appear to be blown, just non-functional). I buy a bulb on ebay and replace it and the tv works for 4 days and then tonight it shuts down again. The bulb once again doesn't appear to be blown, but the tv turns off and the lamp light blinks. If I pull the plug and restart, the tv will play for a few minutes and then turn off again. I don't really know what to do now. Any advice would be welcomed.
Unfortunately no warranty. Even if I did, it probably would have expired by now. The ballast question is a good one, I'll have to ask about that. As for taking it anywhere...it is a 60" TV...not really easy to lug around.
You need to take it in and get it serviced. It seems to be a ballast problem. Sometimes when the bulbs blow, it can take out the ballast with it. Its unlikely but it can happen.
