Liquid crystal display televisions are now commonly available in the market with different brands offering the same. LCD technology development started over forty years ago, and the roots of Sharp LCD TVs can be traced of its calculators. In the early years, before the development of large screen size, most LCD TV manufacturers are offering them to the LCD is limited to the key on the computer monitor, medical equipment monitors and handheld devices as well as digital cameras and digital cameras.
But ever increasing popularity of large screen plasma flat panel LCD TV Sharp encourages departments to change and development continues to enlarge the screen. Most flat panel Sharp LCD TVs screen offers a viewing angle of 170-dregrees, measured drag direction, left and right.
Introduction of 28-inch Sharp LCD TV in 1995, the largest LCD monitor at the time was a major event in the history of television. It set the trend for introduction of larger LCD TVs. The 65-inch LCD TV cheaper than plasma which evinced great consumer's interest heralded a new era of large screen television viewing.

Can i watch tv on my LCD or LED computer monitor?
ok say i have a dish box am i able to connect it to my computer monitor as well and i want to use the box not some computer software.
Only the digital HD Dish box have a monitor-compatible HDMI output that can be directly connected to a computer monitor, and the monitor MUST be HDCP-compliant for that to work.
So check your monitor and see if it's HDCP-compliant, and if you don't have a digital HD Dish box, you will need to upgrade your Dish service to HD.
