Blu Ray worth it on 1080i?

I am really interested in purchasing a blu ray player, and i have done a great deal of research, and I know that they are far superior to DVDs. Everything i have read, however, is in relation to a 1080p.

1080i is the higher HD so your picture should be amazing no matter what. blu ray offers not only an HD picture but an incredible sound. i would highly reccomend a blu ray player especially if you have a home theater system.

my next point would be to look into the Playstaion 3 game system. even if you dont play video games, it plays blu ray players and receives the most recent updates if you have the internet. this makes the blu ray player installed the most updated on the market!

do your research first but i highly recommend purchasing a blu ray player
