The B&o Beovision 7-40 Flat Screen Tv - is This the Best LCD TV Around?
Many that have Digital TV now say they can't do without it. Very few won't feel this way if they dedicate a few days to examine the many advantages Digital TV. There are lots of reasons behind the dominance of Digital TV over Cable TV in people's homes today.

So how would we rate the B&O Beovision 7-40?

We live in Mass, and have DirecTV for our cable (unfortunately). We want to get a 32 inch TV. We have a budget of $500. Which kind of these TV's are best for your money. We have only had regular TV's before. What is the differance between them as well?
Sharon - there are NO quality plasmas under 37", so that means an LCD.
For $500, in a 32" LCD, there is nothing I would recommend - all cheap junk. The best I could do for you near your budget is a 32" Toshiba (32AV500) LCD for about $560, which is a decent quality 720p HDTV.
In 32" LCD, the best in BOTH performance and reliability are, in order, Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, and Samsung. I wouldn't even bother to buy if I couldn't get one of these brands!
